Work & Responsibilities
I was a Senior Player Manager at RLCS 2022-23 - World Championship in Düsseldorf, Germany. This event rounded out the RLCS season with a 24 team event with a $2,100,000 prizepool. This also meant that I had worked each RLCS LAN during the 2022-23 season in a Player Manager capacity.
RLCS Worlds was my first event in the role of Senior Player Manager. This expanded my roles and responsibilities that I usually perform as a Player Manager at previous events. Some of the additional responsibilities that came with being a Senior included:
- Coordinate with the travel team to plan shuttles for arrivals and departures from the event. As well as sharing these shuttle plans with all of the players and teams.
- Taking an active role in escalating and resolving issues during the event regarding players and teams.
- Working with, and supervising, a group of player managers on a daily basis as their first point of contact during the event.
