Prime Gaming’s Ultimate Showdown - Amsterdam

Prime Gaming’s Ultimate Showdown was a variety game tournament to try and find the ultimate all-around gamer. It consisted of multiple qualifier tournaments, of which I worked the Amsterdam qualifier during TwitchCon AMS.

The qualifier involved 4 rounds of games: Roblox, Splitgate, Smite, and FIFA. In each round only a certain number of particpants would qualify for the next round until there were just 4 participants who qualified to the finals at TwitchCon San Diego.

For this event I was a part of the admin team helping to oversee the event. My responsibilities included:

• Helping to setup 50 gaming stations, as well as tear down after the event
• Score reporting
• Setting up lobbies for the various games
• Testing various games to ensure tournament could be run smoothly
